Claire Sauvage {Melbourne, Australia}

Hello beauty,

I am a Certified Wise Womb Therapist. My focus right now is on community care rather than paid sessions as my life is quite full, but I will see clients on an occasional basis so please reach out if you would like my support.

I’m blessed to live on a beautiful farm in country Victoria, Australia, on the land of the Kulin nations.

I spend my days cooking, gardening, medicine-making and working in community development.

Living on a farm, I also help my partner to grow food for restaurants and families across Melbourne. Food and community are both really important to me!

The Wise Womb Way is a powerful blueprint for living in right relationship with ourselves, others, and the earth.

The key focus of my role as a Wise Womb Therapist is to support you in returning to the beauty and wisdom of your “inner landscape”.

I like to think of the inner landscape like a garden that needs tending from time to time; a combination of your memories, emotions, and dreams.

If we let our minds run old programming (e.g. conditioning or stories informed by trauma) without questioning, our inner landscape can become overgrown with ‘weeds’.

Weeds are valuable, so this is not to discount them. But with intention and attention, we can shape our inner gardens to support our dreaming.

I offer in-person earth-centred rituals and bodywork journeys as well as remote sessions.

In person sessions are a nourishing sensory embodiment journey weaving together healing sounds, smells, plants, massage, breathwork, and inner journeying.

Remote sessions are an opportunity to be held with intention and tune in to your inner wisdom. In sessions I will follow your lead and never over-ride you.

My healing journey

When I began apprenticing with Naomi in 2018 my intention was to heal my relationship with my womb after painful experiences; past trauma and endometriosis.

I’d been attending talk-based therapy for 10 years prior to studying with Naomi but I was still quite disassociated from my body, especially my womb. I would constantly get overwhelmed and burnt out through my interactions with others, and often felt that I was worthless.

Through apprenticing with my own inner landscape, I have uncovered wounds, traumas, and beliefs that inhibited my ability to feel safe in the world and my body.

I learnt how to release the trauma stored in my body in a safe way through the somatic and earth-centred practices in the Womb Temple.

Through this process of releasing & realigning, my nervous system has become more regulated and my life has become filled with more of what I love… food, plants, creativity, and community.

Of course, with all this said, I am also very human and healing does not follow a linear path. I am still learning and remembering every day.

I’m grateful for the grounding compass that is the Wise Womb Way.

Feel free to reach out via email to set up a session.

With Love, Claire
