Hi Loves! My name is Laure-Emmanuelle and I’m honoured to be here with you <3
Among many other things, I’m a mother, a musician, space holder, birth worker, healing arts student and practitioner, including the amazing body of work, and so much more!
I began studying Reiki and Plant Medicine over 15 years ago, and one thing led to another until the magic of life brought me to discover Naomi’s work and I started studying with her in 2018. It was the answer to a prayer of bringing together several different arts or modalities that made sense for me to combine.
The school’s curriculum matched exactly my wish list of studies, with the bonus of having them taught in relation to one another!!
My studies with Naomi changed my life and my work in so many ways! It deepened my understanding of holding epic seamless sacred space for myself and others, it taught me about energetic hygiene and boundaries, and gave me so many treasures to share to witness and support our journey of re-membering, connecting with our wombs and healing on all levels.
My personal story, as so many of us, included being extremely sensitive and feeling lost and lacking guidance to navigate life on Earth... So I tried all kinds of ways to hide and numb that sensitivity for many years, building walls and barricades to protect myself.
With hind sight I can now see how those walls also kept me from experiencing myself and my gifts fully and kept me away from the medicine I needed. I’m not sure exactly when was the turning point, but I found myself moving form a path of rational scientific studies to one of learning all the healing arts that ‘fell on my lap’... Reiki, plant medicine, birth work, rites of passage, Lomi Lomi, healing sound and touch, Womb Blessings, Wise Womb Medicine, postpartum care, etc.
I never thought I would be interested in massage or any type of body work, and I now find myself having a profound reverence and awe for being honoured with the trust of touching bodies and holding space to allow and be in full presence...
When I’m not working you can find me loving my daughters, cooking delicious nutritious food for my family, walking in the woods with my dogs, tending to my home, sharing music and conversations with my brothers and sisters, dancing or reading, making medicines...
I also dedicate a lot of my time and devotion to living life as a ceremony, doing my best to model that for my daughters and my loved ones, through everyday little actions and shared ceremonial spaces that I have committed to in various ways.
My wish is to help Wombyn and all people feel held and witnessed in their journey of re-membering who they are, connecting with their womb’s wisdom and inner oracle, their creativity, their power, their beauty...
I hold space for transformation, acceptance, welcoming of all that we are, communing with the silence and melody of our hearts and souls and coming home <3
